NEW Girls Night Out
Updated: Aug 5, 2021

We are pleased to announce Girls Night Out, formerly known as the Back to School Bash, will be held Monday, August 9th in Harrison.
"With schools now providing backpacks and school supplies for all of their students, we needed to revamp this annual event to fill other unmet needs." said Chapter President Tamsyn Simon. "Harrison JA ladies immediately identified the needs of girls in our area - undergarments, personal hygiene products, health and wellness education - and Girls Night Out was created. The potential of an event like this is exciting for membership. We look forward to working with area organizations and agencies to serve the needs of girls at this time of year."
Girls in K-12 are invited to drop by our newest event, Girls Night Out, to collect essentials in preparation for back to school. Bras, underwear, socks, pads and tampons, and personal hygiene products will be available free of charge as well as information on health, wellness, and more for girls.
Notice (8/5/21): Due to the recent increase of Covid cases in the area, Girls Night Out has been changed to a drive-thru event for the health and safety of volunteers and guests. Simply enter the parking lot from Main Street, stop at each tent to collect items, then exit on to Erie Street. Location: 501 N. Main, Harrison Time: 6:00-8:00pm or until supplies run out
